Justine Larbalestier, Magic or Madness

I just discovered this book through John Scalzi's weblog - so I looked it up and it does sound like it might be a good one. Has anyone here read this yet?

Haven't read him yet, but he's a fairly new author. One who looks like he as sometime sarcastic to say (my kind of guy... lol). Here's his website:

His book list:
The Battle of the Sexes in Science Fiction
Magic or Madness
Coming soon: Daughters of Earth

Err, Alia, did you change your orientation without letting us know ? Justine is a feminine name (counterpart of Justin). And she's married.

I suppose that's what I get for posting first thing in the morning. I'm not fully awake yet. I still like a sarcastic writer... no matter male or female.
