Hey thanks- now I have a word of the day.

Oh, and just so we're not off topic, doesn't it seem like Mohinder is really a bit dense. I mean, if he has a list of names of folks with super powers, why does he do nothing with it?

HOw much time do you think has passed in the show? 6 months?

Re: Heroes Season I, Part 2

Based upon the (admittedly small) sample of kids with powers that we've seen so far, it seems as if, when two people with powers have a kid, that kid has a power. I wonder if the powers make people with powers want to have potentially procreative sex with one another? (A selfish power gene.)

Or is it just coincidence that Nathan was successful seduced by Jessica, and now we hear that he also mated with Claire's flame-on biological mother? (Yes, Jessica was obeying Linderman in sleeping with Nathan. But, still.)
And Hiro hit it off with the powerful waitress--although I dunno if they had sex.

I don't think they had time.

Re: Heroes Season I, Part 2

Something I just noticed is a developing theme (OK, so I'm slow): powers that are out of control and have to be mastered.

Hiro can't time travel (for some reason), and needs the sword to regain his power.

Niki can't control Jessica, and needs to integrate the two halves of her personality.

Peter is having trouble preventing himself from exploding as a result of having embodied too many powers that he can't control.

Isaac used to have to get high to paint the future.

Good eye brown rat. The cop also used to have terrible headaches. Nathan accidentally flew during his car crash. The invisible dude sounds like he knows of more supers and has helped them gain control over their powers.

I also like the idea of them being attraced to each other - makes sense. (although Nathan may just be a player)

Re: Heroes Season I, Part 2

Okay, here's a theory. What is happening is that those who are the "good guys" are losing their powers or the ability to control them (Claire being the exception, we think) while the dark side (intended star wars pun) is gaining ascendence and power. So.... the Heroes will not be able to stop the explosion and their power will be ever more needed in the chaotic world after the bomb.

Ugh! I hope not.

Is Nathan on the "good side" if he's being targeted by Jessica?
