So good to see someone like Gaiman mentioning Cabell and Potocki! Perhaps enough people will get curious to see a bit of a revival?

I get the feeling that his interests are pretty eclectic. Some things on there I've never heard of--worth a look.

stumbled on to a really great section of Amazon, called grownup school. Lots of good lists created by experts on a topic there.

Thanks for the tip-off. A Neal Stephenson interview introduced me to Susanna Clarke, who introduced me to Neil Gaiman's novels....
