I'm doing a school project, and I'm writing to my favorite author, which is Margaret McAllister. I can't find her address, so i thought i should come here.

Write to her in care of her publisher and ask them to forward the letter. They won't mind doing that; publishing houses get that kind of request all of the time.

Done that for a few authors before - most didn't reply to my specific query, but a few good names did.
